about 10 designers and Textile Artists are waiting to be exposed and apploud,,hopefully!
It’s more than one hour late. and all participants, are eager to do their part and step into the Catwalk
It was all there: anxiety, lights, people, excitement, hopes, desire, blessing …y mucho mas!
Finally, it’s our time.. and there they come out; 1o beautiful women –
dressed up with Mecomod’s line, looking fresh, unique.
I was behind,, sending them one by one, trying to count somehow.. knowing I have 16 outfits in 10 min..
an almost impossible mission, so I was prying for us to make it through..feeling the blood running fast in my vains..
Unfortuntly, the last one could not make it to the Cutwalk..but It didn’t matter so much anymore because all
it needed for us to celebrate, was there!
It was a night of full local Santa Cruzian recognition with an “After Show” party, in Michelangelo Galley,
with wine, friends and new faces.
We recently received all the pics. from the Show, and you’re invited to see it on our Main page
which also include the original Sound Truck we were supposed to have at that night… – the amazing Music of Uzi Tany.
Hope next year we’ll have a chance to Dance with it and shake the Hall.
So as I said in the main page of this blog – I’m a dreamer who’s seeking for more collaboration with whoever see’s our
capacity/talent to make clothing that Embrace the women’s curvs, moves with her
and give her a soft faminine look.
We are trying to say something more personal with the Articulate fabrics designed by my partner/artist Joseph tany,
who has a constant flow of creativity for designing more.

This time, the story is about healing from menopause affects by drinking Aloe Vera gel.
I was 49 when the first simptomes arrived-7 years ago.
Those annoying hot flashes that afflicted me about 10 times a day or more
Sometimes I would wake up in the middle of the night – because the bed turned into a lake…
Beside this new phenomena, I had a strong attack of excema in my hands and I picked all the leaves
from my poor Aloes plants, that were pretty young to do so..
I was craving to find an alternative medicine, something that will reinforce me, so I can face this new Era in my life…
One morning, while drinking coffee, in our favorite Cafe in Los Boliches (south of Spain), I meet this English lady who noticed my sore hands.
She took a small sample of Aloe vera gel from her bag and offered it to me.
The relief was immediate!…and my next question was about a natural remedy for the hot flashes
“Yes!” she goes.
“You see the immediete relief it does to your hands? It does a similar amazing relief to your whole body when you inhale it.
It’ll recuperate your immune system. It will heal you slowly…in a few months.
Just keep on drinking it every morning, before anything else.”
She mentioned that if it does not work for me, she’ll get my money back..which sounded fair enough.
I started drinking the gel the next morning- one full spoon of it; and after a week, we met again.
My hands were much better and I had a slight feeling of inner change.
I was eager to be well and asked her if I can drink a bigger quantity
“O Yes”, she said,”as much as you want, it’s nutrition, not a medicine…there are no limitations.”
It was a shiny spring morning and I drank almost a whole cup of the gel…and my friend did the same.
We went out of the village, to sense the strong blooming of spring & eat some wild flowers that we love.
After 20 mins, we suddenly realized we were constantly laughing outloud about almost everything we see or say.
And with it – we had a strong sensation of clarity and aliveness.
“Well”, i said to my friend,”if this trip is the over doses of this plant – I’m buying it! I’m going forword with this remedy!”
It felt right to go on with her reccomendation – drinking one whole spoon (of the inner fillet) in the morning, which i did
untill the hot flashes were completely gone…6 month later.
Another month passed & the ecxema disappeared too.
my friend started drinjing it 2 months after I did, noticing after a while the same sensation it gives me, – it’s like even the mind gets clearer. I would even dare saying more tuned, like a musical instrument with a cleaner sound?? make sence?

נכתב לנכדותי/נכדי מצד הבת שלי, שמחה דר פרלמן,
לאחר כעשרה ימים ללא חבור בגלל תקלות במחשב וכאן
תודה והערכה לאבא שי שמאפשר לנו התקשרות כה מופלאה

פותחת כאן לראשונה דלת לעברית – ולכל מי שקורא את השפה היפה הזאת, בה אני זורמת בקלילות יחסית שלא כמו באנגלית, אליה די קשה לי להתחבר
הספור אותו אספר הוא על הרפוי המופלא אותו חויתי לפני כשבע שנים, כשחיפשתי פתרון טבעי לתופעות המנופאוסה, שהגיעו גם אלי, מספר חודשים לאחר שהמחזור האחרון גווע בקול ענות חלושה. ההחלטה לחלק את החוויה עם עוד נשים – באה בגלל התחושה שהפתרון שמצאתי יכול לעזור להרבה נשים שהגיעו לנקודה הזו בחייהן ולא שמעו על “הצמח שמרפא”, כמו שהוא נקרא בקריביים, שם הוא גדל פרא ומגיע למלוא יכולת הריפוי שבו והנייטיב מכירים אותו היטב מזה מאות שנים ומרפאים בעזרתו מחלות שכיחות כמו גריפה אנגינה כאבי בטן, בעיות עור, כאבי ראש ועוד רשימה ארוכה של מחלות
הייתי אומללה – חווה התקפים של גלי חום 10 15 פעמים ביום ובנוסף – התקף אקזמה, בעיקר בידיים, ששיתק כמעט לגמרי את יכולתי לעבוד
היו לי מספר צמחי אלוה וירה מהערבה, בכניסה לסטודיו שלנו וקטמתי להם כל מה שאפשר היה לחתוך אך אלה היו צמחים צעירים מדי
(כדי שהצמח יגיע למלוא יכולת הריפוי שלו – צריך להתאזר בסבלנות כשש שבע שנים לפחות)
בוקר בהיר אחד בשבתי על כוס קפה בלוס בוליצס, דרום ספרד, שם חיינו באותה תקופה, ניגשה אלי אישה ממוצא אנגלי,
הציגה את עצמה ואמרה לי שיש לה משהו שיקל על מצב הידיים שלי
היא הוציאה דוגמית מהתיק (אלוה וירה) ומיד מרחתי אותה, נהנית מהקלה מידית, משמעותית ביותר.
די מהר שאלתי אותה אם יש לה גם פתרון לגלי החום המטרידים והיא השיבה לי בעליצות: ודאי שכן!
את רואה איזו הקלה הגל עושה לידייך?… אותן נפלאות הוא גם יעשה לגוף ולהרגשתך הכללית, אלא שאל תצפי לשינוי מיידי,,זה תהליך הדרגתי שמתרחש תוך כמה חודשים,, אם תתמידי לשתות כף אחת כל בוקר לפני כל דבר אחר
בנוסף היא הבטיחה להחזיר את כספי אם לא אהיה מרוצה – וזה נשמע לי כמדיניות חכמה כך שהסכמתי ורכשתי כמות של ליטר.
לאחר כשבוע, מצב הידיים השתפר מאד והרגשתי יותר נינוחות בגוף. נפגשנו שוב ושאלתי אותה אם אפשר לשתות כמויות יותר גדולות
כמובן שכן ענתה לי – אלוה וירה זה מזון עשיר ומרוכז, זו לא תרופה ולכן אין הגבלה על הכמות,,את יכולה לשתות כמה שאת רוצה
היה זה בוקר אביב מקסים והחלטנו לצאת לטייל מחוץ לכפר, לקטוף ולאכול פרחי בר שאוהבים (ועל כך אכתוב עוד מאמר בהמשך)
שתיתי כוס כמעט מלאה וחברי שתה גם הוא. לאחר כחצי שעה, בין אכילת פרחי חרדל, צנון הבר ובורגו, מצאנו את עצמנו מתגלגלים מצחוק כמעט מכל דבר שאמרנו כשההרגשה הכללית האופפת אותנו היתה של קלילות מפתיעה בגוף, וחיות מתרוצצת בכל איברנו
אמרתי לחברי שאם זו ההשפעה של מנת יתר – אני הולכת על זה
וכך אמנם היה אלא ששמעתי לעצתה של הסוכנת ושתיתי הכמות המומלצת, הווה אומר כף אחת בבוקר לפני הקפה
לאחר כשישה חודשים בהם שתיתי הגל בעקביות – נעלמו גלי החום לחלוטין וכחודש לאחר מכן, גם האקזמה
מאז ועד היום אלוה וירה גל הפך למזון יומיומי, בסיסי עבורי ועבור החבר שלי שהצטרף אלי כחודשיים לאחר שהתחלתי, מאשר הרגשה טובה דומה ואפילו הסכמנו
על כך שהמחשבה שלנו צלולה ובהירה יותר
הדבר האחרון אותו רוצה להוסיף כאן, לכל אלה מבינכן/כם המעונינים להוריד במשקל – נסו זאת!
מניחה שהעושר האדיר שלצמח יש מבחינת ויטמינים ומינרלים – מאזן איך שהוא גם את התאבון ומקל על הרזיה בטוחה לטווח ארוך
ולסיום – אני שוב חשה בטוב הודות לאלוה וללא ספק זה משפיע על יכולתי ליצור ולעצב ולכן ממליצה בחום לכל מי שזקוק לחיזוק רפוי ואיזון

y como un flore me abro poco a poco,,
a sentir mi primera Primavera en SC, que es generoza,, colorida,,amoroza,,
si hablamos de lo que crece aqui naturalmente
y de lo que esta creciendo entre yo y mis amigos aqui.
Mirando las tranquilas holas del Pacifico, casi cada manana, en los ultimos meses,
me ayudo a ser mas pacifica, mas clara, mas azul, mas enamorada, mas creativa,

con la curiosidad de vivir lo que nace de mi libertad

Exciting writing in this blog for the first time…y hoy es el dia del Carnaval, y yo, , feel like going dancing, huging, playing music with friends.

I see how my emotional life affect my ability to create.. and I only know it’s not a matter of good or bad..right now it’s exiting having this new window – the blog
“Mecomodo” is almost one year old and this is my birthday present to it.
